The Minus Paint System

Removes all paint body filler and tar from steel, most plastics, rubber, aluminium, brass, copper, stainless steel without affecting the surface.

Simply deliver your parts or body shells stripped of all it's mechanicals and trim to Minus Paint.

Depending on the amount of paint and body filler on the panels or body shell, it will take approximately 7-8 days to strip clean to bare steel. All body panels are thoroughly washed down with a high pressure steam cleaner after the stripping process.
Minus Paint can remove all rust from all metal surfaces leaving nothing but base metal.

Within the Minus Paint process the steel parts can be coated with a water soluble rust inhibitor to ensure that the bare metal does not oxidise before further work is carried out.
This treatment will keep parts in good condition, when kept under good cover, but should be etched as soon as possible.
When you are ready to work on the parts it is only a matter of washing with deoxidine before you prepare the metal for painting.

Minus Paint has the largest Alkaline tank in South Australia, large enough to immerse an entire body shell.

Minus Paint treatments costs vary depending on the size of the vehicle and the number of parts involved.

Minus Paint system can remove all corrosion and rust from all metal surfaces, leaving nothing but the base metal. The Metal cleaning process does not effect rubber, lead, chrome, stainless steel or plastic.

The treatment cost will vary depending on the size of the vehicle and number of parts involved. NOTE: Rust inhibitor treatment has a limited life, and also all diecasts, aluminium, galvanised and tin components must be removed.

Minus paint can also remove paint from cast iron, aluminium, magnesium, alloys, some plastics, rubber, glass, brass, copper and stainless steel.
